The CEI & NRIPC Emerging Leaders Internship Program was created to provide graduating high school seniors and incoming college freshmen with meaningful workforce exposure, leadership development, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities.
This program is designed to create a long-term leadership pipeline while introducing students to behavioral health operations, nonprofit leadership, administration, finance, marketing, and community engagement.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a graduating high school senior or incoming college freshman
- Submit a professional resume
- Submit a professional headshot
- Submit official college acceptance letter
- Provide intended course of study/major
- Complete interview process
- Demonstrate professionalism and willingness to learn

PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS
Interns are expected to:
- Maintain professionalism
- Follow business casual dress code
- Arrive on time
- Demonstrate accountability
- Participate in trainings and mentorship meetings
- Represent CEI & NRIPC positively within the community
CONTINUING LEADERSHIP PATHWAY
This is not designed to be a one-time internship experience.
Students demonstrating strong performance are encouraged to return during:
- Fall Break
- Winter Break
- Spring Break
- Summer Breaks
The vision is to cultivate future professionals, leaders, and long-term employment candidates within CEI & NRIPC.
EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE INCENTIVE
At the conclusion of each internship cycle, interns are formally evaluated and may become eligible for a performance-based educational assistance bonus intended for college-related expenses.
This may include:
